When improvements & updates are made to the current versions of QuickBooks or when unforeseen issues are discovered & resolved, Intuit creates an update, sometimes referred to as a maintenance release. Here, you'll find the information you need to update your current version of QuickBooks.

QuickBooks Product Updates
Due to a minor database database change included in this release, you will be required to upgrade your company file again. However, this upgrade process will not take as long as the original upgrade.
To download and install an update, select the version of QuickBooks you want to update.
Please remember that if you use QuickBooks in multi-user mode, you must update all copies of QuickBooks on your network so that they all have the same release installed.
If you need to reinstall your software in the future, you will need to reinstall any product updates, or you will not be able to open your company file(s).
