In the middle of March 2009, Intuit will be releasing a product update to allow payroll users to complete their payroll year end and to continue processing payroll into the new tax year.

QuickBooks 2006 Regular will be discontinued on 5th April, 2009. If you are a QuickBooks 2006 Regular user, you will be able to process your payroll year end when you receive the product update, but you will need to upgrade to continue using payroll into the new tax year.
